C2 Biotechnologies, LLC (C2B), harnesses the power of the natural world using molecular, computational and structural biology to build better products for the renewable energy, fermentation and waste treatment markets. We use the tools of biotechnology to improve the quality of life.

History

C2B is an early stage company formed in Ulster County, New York, in 2006 that uses biotechnology to improve the quality of life by developing biological products and services for the renewable energy, corn derivative, fermentation and waste treatment markets.

The company has developed its own technology. We rely on our patent pending fusion enzyme technology platform to build biological molecules with multiple activities. The resultant products are more robust, easier to use, and reduce our manufacturing and client operating costs.

In tough economic times C2B has received private financing to build our first product, amylase fusion enzyme, and demonstrated how our technology platform works. To bring this technology to market C2B is seeking a commercialization partner.
